Ashlee Simpson celebrated boyfriend Pete Wentz’s birthday

Ashlee Simpson celebrated boyfriend Pete Wentz’s 28th birthday on Tuesday. Wentz and band mates played a show at Long Island’ s Jones Beach. They arrived at Angels & Kings, a rock ‘n’ roll bar owned by him at Manhattan’s East Village, at around midnight, accompanied by a bodyguard. Ashlee and Wentz were spotted hanging out and smooching at the bar.

“The concert was a blast, it was really windy and it was hard to hear anything at all, but it was awesome,” says Wentz. Wentz plans to continue celebrating with “a Vegas party for my birthday” in a week.

Wentz and his band ‘Fall Out Boy’ will travel to Uganda to film a video and help raise awareness of conditions there. He said he hope Simpson will also join him “If I can convince her to get in a mosquito tent with me, just maybe Ashlee will come.”
